Adding animations to a PowerPoint slide i in PowerPoint Click on the object that you wish to animate in a slide Select an Animation to apply to it. You can also apply multiple animations to the same object, as well as select which direction the animation effect is displayed from (via Effect Options).
Preview your animation or play it in Slide Show mode.

Triggers give you specific click points for controlling animation, and are especially useful when you want several effects on a slide. Trigger an animation effect to begin when you click it On the animations, in the Advanced Animation group, click Animation Pane. In the Animation Pane, select the animated shape or other object that you want to trigger to begin playing when you click it. In the Advanced Animation group, click Trigger, point to On Click of, and then, select the object Triggers, like hyperlinks, have many uses in e-Learning courses.
